m at sea Just Off the Easel – At Sea, Miniature Watercolor Painting I’m enjoying this work with miniature watercolor paintings.  My latest, “At Sea”, blends a technique I started using a bit later in my watercolor career. 

I was pleased how the waves turned out, incorporating my use of gouache to create the white caps.  It has a feeling, for me anyway, of almost coming off the page.  It’s a miniature, 4.25” x 2.25”.  It comes with a double cut mat.
