Fun Little Painting

I’ve had some success with miniature paintings lately and have decided to do a few more. By miniature, I mean about 1.25″ x 1.75″. I market them as dollhouse miniatures. They’re fun to do. Quick. It’s a nice break too from doing larger works. Here are a couple I just completed.

My own kitty was my inspiration. For a cat she’s very photogenic. And there is that added benefit of having a live model. I can double check the shadows, the lay of the fur. Very helpful. So, I’ll do a few more in the days ahead and enjoy that feeling of having completed a painting.
